Romans 12:2 does not say avoid the world. It says do not be shaped by it — which requires noticing when you are being shaped.

Questions that work better than rules

Ask her: which accounts make you feel worse about yourself? She usually already knows.

Ask her: if a friend talked to you the way you talk to yourself after an hour online, would you keep her?

Then let her set the limit. A boundary she chooses survives longer than one she resents.
