Tired is not the same as failing
Exhaustion often gets read as evidence that you are not doing enough. Usually it is evidence that you are doing a great deal.
Jesus invites the heavy laden, not the well rested. The tiredness is the qualification, not the disqualification.
What rest actually looks like
Ten quiet minutes before the house wakes. One night a week with nothing scheduled. Asking for help before you are desperate.
Your daughter is watching how you treat yourself. She is learning what she will allow for herself later.
You cannot pour from a cup you never let anyone fill.
